Le Artishasic is the extension of a movement toward high quality, handcrafted, site driven wines from California. Our mission is to craft delicious, well balanced, food friendly wines from pristine fruit, farmed by experienced and passionate family growers.
Silver Oak is a leading producer of food-friendly Cabernet Sauvignon aged exclusively in American oak. Established in 1972, Silver Oak is still owned and operated by the Duncan family. The Duncan Family founded Twomey Cellars in 1999 where many of the same principal philosophies are applied to create a variety of single vineyard and handcrafted wines including Merlot, Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc.
In 1977, our family purchased 100 acres in the iconic Spring Mountain District of Napa Valley. We planted just 5 acres in 1985 and launched FRIAS Family Vineyard with our first vintage in 1991. FRIAS now has 13 precious acres of hillside vineyards planted to Cabernet Sauvignon. Second generation brothers Fernando and Manny Frias Jr. are at the helm of this artisanal family winery. Todd Heth has been the winemaker since 2004.
